Our Savior’s Church, one church with many campuses, is located in culture-rich Southern Louisiana where the food is great and the relationships are better! The church was born in the hearts of Pastor Jacob and Michelle Aranza and was launched in the Fall of 1998 as one location in Broussard, Louisiana. Within a few months the church had grown to 300 in attendance.

In 1999 and 2000, we helped plant our first family churches in Mandeville and Jennings, Louisiana. In Broussard, Our Savior’s Church began construction on a new sanctuary and educational building. By this time, the average attendance was at 450. Through a series of miraculous events, we were able to move into those new facilities on Father’s Day of 2001.

In 2002, Our Savior’s Church experienced still another influx of growth. Attendance was reaching 1,100 and we began making preparations for future growth with the launch of our first portable location in Lafayette. Part of this preparation included pastoral and staff additions and in 2004—God added to our leadership team in a tremendous way as OSC became a multi-site Church.

In 2006, the Broussard location completed the next phase of our growth with the completion of our Student Ministry and Children’s Ministry buildings. By this time growth had climbed to almost 1,500 and people were being born again every weekend.

In January of 2009, construction of the new, permanent Lafayette location was brought to completion and the work of God was expanded to the greater Lafayette area. 1200 people attended that first weekend and since that time, the Lafayette location has experienced incredible growth each year and is now averaging a weekend attendance of 3,200!

In January of 2010, we expanded again, with our third location opening in Opelousas. The campus began as a thriving, life-giving campus in the heart of downtown Opelousas, and in just over a year was averaging 400 at our weekend services. Continued growth and limited space led us to take a step of faith, and on Easter of 2013 we had our very first service in the Opelousas Civic Center with over 1,400 in attendance. Since moving to the Civic Center, the Opelousas location has continued to see amazing growth and is averaging a weekend attendance of just under 2,000.

2015 was an amazing year for our church, as well. Both Broussard and Lafayette locations are poised to begin expansions. Our Opelousas location has acquired land and is planning to build a permanent facility. Also this year, miraculously, Our Savior’s Church was practically given a facility for our fourth location, Midtown, right in the heart of Lafayette. “Only God can do that!”

2018 has been another year of growth for our church as we have recently added our 5th location, the New Iberia campus. We can’t wait to see all that God does to continue to reach people and build lives in the city of New Iberia.

2019 is the year of new for Our Savior’s Church. Our Opelousas location moved into a brand new facility and our new Youngsville campus launched in August.

The best is yet to come!
Hundreds are being born again. Lives are being changed. Families and marriages are being restored. It is by the grace of God and the faithfulness of our spiritual family that we are able to see God’s hand at work in our region.
