This family saw that our church was helping people in their neighborhood and contacted us for assistance. We had the opportunity to clean out their house that was damaged in the flood and pray over them. When we as the church respond to needs, we are able to bring hope and the presence of God into people’s lives. This has been a devastating time for our community and our state, but God is moving and will provide.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matt 25:35-36
